You come back because nowhere else is the same.
In a previous life, the buildings we’re transforming into Hill Hall were home to the students of Fayetteville for over 75 years.
New life, energy, and light is being infused back into walls where history has lingered since they were first built, back in 1923. The revival of this space is more than just a personal endeavor, it’s a chance to restore a property for the community it sits at the heart of — and for all of those that find themselves passing through this corner of West Virginia, looking for a temporary place to call home.
The academic essence of Hill Hall has intertwined itself into our brand story with ease — nostalgia is at the forefront of our identity, and something we hope you’ll feel the warmth of on arrival. Read on for the histories that have woven their way into the fabric of this town, stories held onto and passed down through generations to where we find ourselves today.

Say hello.
Couldn’t have done it without them.
We’re incredibly lucky to be in the vicinity of some culinary creatives who help us keep things fresh, local, and seasonal at Patsy’s — and who help us ensure our menu stays vibrant and flavorful with each new turn of the year.

Pat's famous Chex Mix on standby.
A lot of work,
but worth it
Pat’s enduring legacy lies in her heartfelt cataloging of the recipes she cooked for her loved ones — encapsulated into a handwritten cookbook and passed into the hands of each family member, to cook for their families, for generations to come. She wrote the story, we’re simply here to act it out.

Home-cooked and heartfelt.

From one generation to another.

A whole lotta heart here.

“I hope all of you will enjoy this “cookbook”. I’ve loved getting it together for everyone. As you will see, you will find more than recipes for you to try and use. The women in our families were very good cooks, so thought it would be nice for all of our younger members to have some of their favorites to cook for their families.”
